Egg Press is a female owned, letterpress greeting card company based in Portland, Oregon. We thoughtfully create designs through the lens of analog printmaking. We believe letter writing is a valuable practice that helps keep people connected.
Bringing people together, supporting inclusivity.
While we may be a tiny team, we are mighty. In the middle of a global pandemic, our team was able to launch a new card line, Press for Change. This collection brings emerging artists together, who represent a spectrum of backgrounds and identities, providing a foundation for diversity within our greeting card portfolio. We’ve included a donation model that supports local, state and national nonprofit organizations. Our aim is to give artists an opportunity to have their voice and art heard and seen in the greeting card community.

We feel it’s our duty as a paper company to be committed to sustainability. We collaborate with our factory and materials partners to build short and long term goals to minimize our footprint.
Our letterpress greeting cards are designed intentionally to reduce waste and are printed on FSC certified, 30% post-consumer waste paper and paired with 100% recycled paper envelopes.

Write Letters, strengthen and forge relationships.
We make letterpress greeting cards for you to send to your friends, family and people who matter to you most.
Connecting with people can come in many forms. Our aim is to help all people send letterpress cards.
Here are a few organizations we work with:
The organization's networks to help over 150,000 incarcerated people and their families in Oregon, Washington, and California stay in touch by writing each other letters of support, encouragement, love, and holiday celebration.
Meals on Wheels has been guided by a single goal since the first known U.S. delivery by a small group of Philadelphia citizens in 1954 – to support our senior neighbors to extend their independence and health as they age. We worked directly in Portland and donated our greeting cards to encourage writing during the Covid pandemic.
Our mission is to help kids and teens burdened with lengthy hospital stays pass the time by providing useful and fun items like phone chargers, ball caps to cover scars, games to play with family and friends, playing cards, anti-slip socks, high quality toothbrushes, and more. It's a nice array of items that really can help a patient and their family feel better about their hospital stay. Egg Press donates cards in order to give someone a way to send a card during an extended stay.
